I think it's nice, for what it is, of course. The "realism" debate is rather silly, peeps. Don't heckle the man's work! The lines are clean, the form is (styalized a bit) nice, and the idea is, well...just about what I think a 16 yr old boy would think of drawing! LOL. But, taken altogether (especially when one thinks that a 16 yr old did this!) it's very good.

Being in a medieval reinactment group, aka SCA, I know that those who are -really- good don't get hit, or kill their opponents before they have a chance to strike.

Most of the killing blows in our stuff are just one hit kills, so we either get really good at blocking, or dodging. She could easily be good at dodging......and distraction I might add......

Ever notice that the people who flame artists over nudity never use their name and have a yellow streak a mile wide? Good stuff. I am partial to redheads myself. In fact, I am dating one now.

Actually, very few gladitors wore armour except for a helmet or greaves.
