| 15 Oct 2001 | Saul Wilcox | Great. Very good indeed. | |
| 18 Oct 2001 | Mirumoto Ikato | The face and hands are very well executed, and, though it does not follow in the vein that my work does, I must say that I am rather impressed with your drawings. Just a note toward improving future drawings, though, this one's shoulders and torso seem just a little small for the head and hands. Perhaps it has something to do with the odd angle of attack, though your others don't seem to really have the same problem. *shrugging* It's a minor thing, really, and I can't criticize much, because almost all my humanoids have problems with some part of their body being unworkable anatomically. *patting the good ol' copy of Gray's* My humans still need work.
Keep up the good work, and particularly that that involves one of the greatest game systems ever to come down the pike, L5R First Ed.
As far as the proportions go, she is a young Asian girl, after all (actually, she's about 16). And what's this about an angle of attack? What attack? | |
| 23 Nov 2001 | Jen Teo aka Miss Koala | She looks like Zhang Ziyi from Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon??? | |
| 5 Dec 2001 | Sarah Cuypers | Looks fantastic. I love the way the wind makes those threads move...Very beautiful, well done. | |
| 12 Jan 2002 | Oliver Booms | I like the serenity of it. One observation, though... it might be only me but the positioning of her right hand and wrist seems to be somewhat... off. My hand at least would hurt a bit... | |
| 13 Apr 2002 | Bonnie Miller | Once again, you have done a beautiful job on the hair and the wrinkles in the fabric. And the texture on the blade is BEAUTIFUL! | |
| 13 May 2002 | L. Butterfly | After having looked through your side I have come to believe that this is one of your best. The detail to the clothing, her expression and particularly her hands is positively lovely. Great work, I hope to see more. | |
| 7 Jun 2002 | Ian | how do you draw such beautiful people!?! It's not fair, I tell you! Not Fair! | |
| 1 Jul 2002 | Lyndell Stout | Wow she is very dreamy, one can almost feel a sense of longing in her eyes. Of course, this could just be wishful thinking on my part. I did lose the sword against her sleeve so some more defined lines in that regards would be a good idea. Well done. Sean C. Riley replies: "Quite right. I really need to re-scan this and touch it up a bit. It suffered from a bad scan, as well as being a fairly light picturei n the first place. Once I get my hands on a working scanner, I'll see what I can do." | |
| 8 Mar 2004 | Daisiel | Wow she's lovely. I love the way her hands are sort of twined around each other, it makes it look so romantic! | |
