SciFi and Fantasy Art: Confrontation

Here we have a sticky situation. A meeting of two dragons who are very different. One is simple, the other is ornate. One is rough, the other is elegant. And yet, they are both dragons. They are both beautiful. They are both powerful. They are both ready to strike...and they are both uncertain. Perhaps they are more alike than they realize.

7 Jun 2001	Danielle Williams	Loading... I definitely enjoy the concept, and it's clear you put a lot of effort into this. I think, though, this picture would be helped immensely by a bit more body language -especially in the shoulders (mostly of the Eastern dragon) and the overall body stance (of the Western dragon). Both could show hesitancy and restraint, but still have a lot of energy. Have you ever considered redoing this in color? The themes you have going here would work well with some colors, I think!
