SciFi and Fantasy Art: Highland Macig

She kind of reminded me of a scottish lady.. I could be mistaken though. I drew her shortly after I got to tech school (in march)

You really get a sense of grace and power. Would love to see this one in colored pencil.

Yep, I agree nice flow and grace. One thing that I noticed... her breasts are a little high? Or is it just me trying too hard to look into it?

I LOVE THIS DRAWING, best one you have in here definately!!! i have one gripe, her arms look too short, but other than that, she is very graceful and beautiful. very impressed.

Actually, Ronnie, that would be accurate to the area she comes from... Shorter arms were English trait, and it's close enough to what we'd know as Scotland that it's possible...

meep! very, very beautiful! perhaps this is just because i'm a dancer, but she seems to be dancing to me, or at least that she's the sort of person that seems to be dancing whenever she moves because she's so graceful. the almost walking on air kind! very, very nice!

Hmm.. To an earlier comment: The breasts arnt too high.. The bodice of the dress, the V-cut makes her torso look longer. if you go and measure, the breasts are about where they should be.. Normally in drawing, the bottom of the breasts touch a full head length down from the drawings head.. So the head itself would be one headlength, then imagine that space over again, and the bottom of the breasts should touch in that area (if they are normally proportioned and not HUGE). My only complaint with this drawing, is that he left breast is a bit too pointy.. A bit of Madonna in her? ::grins:: Maybe soften the line a bit.. Id understand if its supposed to be Corset type or something.. but its still to Harsh.. It contrasts with the over all gentle, soft feel that the woman gives.. The harsher lines are something id expect to find on a Mistress, Madame, or Matron. Great great lovey facial fetures here shan! And the dress is lovely!!!
