     Since at this point in my artistic endeavors i am working on my portrait skills, i am sorry i do not have much new art to upload to this gallery. Elfwood does not allow 'copies'. So even though most the portraits i draw are 'fantasy portraits', simply adding fantasy elements, elfwood still considers them copies.

     So, while i might have a few new pieces to add to this gallery every so often, if you really want to see most of my newer drawings, you should visit my deviantart gallery.

Short Intro:

    Having two young children leaves little time for hobbies, but for me, art is a way of life.
    So while my little ones might keep me too busy to update as often as i'd like, i am still always making more art, and i try to add to this gallery as often as possible.
    I hope you enjoy your visit to my little gallery. I appreciate any comments, of course, and i do try to respond when i can find the time.

Artist Bio:

   Like many other elfwood residents, i've been drawing since i learned how to hold a pencil. I didn't begin drawing seriously however, until high school.

    I'm primarily a graphite artist, dabbling in digital media only recently. I like to consider my specialty 'fantasy-realism' i love fantasy subjects but i enjoy drawing them realistically.

    My latest venture is in the realm of portraits. I'm always working to better portray my subjects likeness, drawing from photos and real life (although my son usually wakes up before i'm able to finish).

    I'm mostly self-taught, with the help of some handy books i've checked out libraries. I would love to continue my art education more academically, but at this point in my life that will have to wait. However, i'm always working to better my skills...
