SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dryad Girl

Got some new colored pencils, so i tried them out. As i was drawing her i thought she would be a mermaid, but then she became a tree. So i had drawn her with blue, and then went back over her with brown (and tried to fix the color in photoshop, but didn't susceed too well).

7 Dec 2003	Ashley	Loading... This drawing is really great! However the girl to me, as a roleplayer, doesn't seem to be the tree itself. I see the girl as a dryad, as dryad's are born from trees. Michelle Marie Andersen replies: "I also consider her a dryad, i just couldn't come up with a good title, so i just called the drawing "weeping willow". But i do think of her as a dryad, not a tree herself. Thanks! :i) "
25 Aug 2005	Sarah Williamson	Loading... I like this, I have my own idea on drawing a dryad. I like the way it seems that she is seperating herself from her tree, and her skin looks like bark and hair like leaves. Dryads are cool.
