SciFi and Fantasy Art: (s)Elf Portrait!

This started out as a self portrait (with my new, short hair), but I didn't like how it was turning out. I made my eyes too wide and a couple other little problems. It does look like me, but I figured that I could do better. So, I gave her pointy ears, long eyelashes and a different ring (changed from my wedding ring). I like it much better now. She looks like an apprentice who is either very interested in what her master is teaching her, or trying very hard to stay awake. Either way, I think it is cute!
