| 16 Dec 2005 | Wolf | Yay! It's your fantasy art book cover thing! yay! I wish I had a scanner **pouts** I want a dragon! I love the shading! Shelz Keast replies: "Maybe you can try purely digital work? Just using a program like photoshop or somthing?" | |
| 11 Jan 2006 | Jordan E. Garrison | Very symbolic I think....absolutely wonderful! Shelz Keast replies: "When I did it there wasn't actually any symbolism intended. It was just an exercise for art class." | |
| 30 Apr 2006 | Kathryn Leigh Schulze | Very nice! I like how soft the dragons colors are. Shelz Keast replies: "Thanks, somtimes I'll colour a picture a bit too lightly though." | |
| 16 Jul 2007 | Liz 'Invicta' Mallia | I like the way the tail merges with Saturn's ring Shelz Keast replies: "Thanks, I'm not sure where it was meant to be Saturn. Should do some more space art some time. Thanks for comment no. 200!" | |
| 30 Sep 2007 | Douglas Eckhart | Okay, I was thinking of going to Saturn, but there's no way you'll get me to go now, not with that giant dragon thing around it! I checked my telescope just a few minutes ago, and although I didn't see it, I bet it's just hiding on the other side... waiting for me to try to go there! >.> If I do go vacationing in the outer rim of the solar system, I'll probably have to go all the way to Neptune or something. I'm not stopping at Uranus either, I would never live down the jokes. Shelz Keast replies: "Well don't forget to take warm clothes if you do head out that way- I've heard it gets pretty chilly." | |
| 19 Mar 2008 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | the colouring of this one is very very pretty ! i love how the tail turns into the ring of saturn... it also suits the circle the dragon is lying in - yeah, this is very cool ! Shelz Keast replies: "I think we had to draw a circle shaped fantasy image for this particular assignment." | |
| 25 Mar 2008 | Sam Adams | Awwwww! I love the beautiful colours! | |
| 11 Apr 2008 | Tiffany lishay manis | oh wow!this is neet! i love how u did this design Shelz Keast replies: "Thanks, it had to be circular as part of the assignment." | |
| 3 May 2008 | Katie "FireBird" Wakelin | You have fantasy art lessons? That is unforgivable, very unfair and probably calculated to make me kill you, take a potion to make me look like you and take your place. I am INCREDIBLY envious.
Now to the art. Great! I love the idea of the dragon curling around the planet and the face is so well drawn, all peaceful and happy.........Eccellent pic! ^-^ Shelz Keast replies: "Had, I had a course called somehting like "Drawing and Painting Fantasy Art". Though I tend to treat every art class as a fantasy art class. I can normally wrangle in some fantasy art to things like English too and atleast normal art to things like science. Perhaps you should raid youre local libary/bookshop for how to draw books. I’ve learnt most of what I know either from them or personal experience (i.e. practice). Or you can study the works of really good artists, I find that can be usefull too." | |
| 5 May 2008 | Katie "FireBird" Wakelin | Thanx for the suggestions, I always annoy my teachers by sneaking dragons and fantasy into the most innocent assignment. As for the drawing books, I have 4 books on drawing manga and 1 on fantasy art, oh, and I have my wonderfully artistic mother! And I am studying amazing art right now! Thanx again. ^-^ Shelz Keast replies: "If your mum’s artistic that’s going to be a great help. Mine claims she was artistic as a kid but she seems to have entirely given it up now. Dad doesn’t even pretend to have ever been artistic. " | |
