SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sand Dragon

Despite apperently having great patience, there is only so much birdwatching one can take. So when I got bored at looking at little shore birds I found a stick and drew this fella in the sand. He's a couple of metres long; you may be able to see the foot prints, especially around the head, and guess at the actuall size.

4 May 2008	Anne Wipf	Loading... It is not easy to see the drawing in a first quick look, but... it’s very nice. Shelz Keast replies: "Thank you. It wasn’t the best lighting to take a photo in (cloudy and overcast at midday)"
5 May 2008	Dave Cripps	Loading... I think the birds daren’t come near the dragon that’s why they disappeared. That reminds me of those art shows where they create a huge picture from driftwood or something, you can’t see what it is untill the camera pulls back to reveal.... A Dragon! Much better than a sand castle LOL Shelz Keast replies: "I think I remeber something like that called Art Atack. It was great fun to watch. I’m pretty sure it was British too."
6 May 2008	John R Farley Jr	Loading... Comes up better on my flat panel. Well, even if your feet are the size of mine, which isn’t likely, I can still see the length of the sand painting. Shelz Keast replies: "It was only intended to give a rough estimate of size. I’m generally pretty horrible at guessing myself."
