SciFi and Fantasy Art: The ultimate Crabman

This was the second in a trio of experiments with white chalk over black paper. I've found that with this reverse rendering, I can get more dynamic lighting effects than normally. It's easier to figure out where the lights hit rather where it doesn't. I did this with little or no planning while I was hanging out with a few friends at a late night coffee shop. Damon

Cool beastie - very eye catching. Congrats on the experimentation and I must say much respect - I dont have any idea how poeple can come up with stuff like this without the variety of redo/ctrl-z functions of us computer artists.

:-) Damon Sherman replies: "nah, it's pretty much the same. Except, I use an eraser. Otherwise thanks for the compliment."
