SciFi and Fantasy Art: Male, Spearman Class

Just like the female archer, this was also my attempt at coming up with character classes. This time it's a male spearman. And, darnit, if I again didn't run out of paper space. This time the tip of his boot was sacrificed. :/

Nice....really cool details. You have a style that is similar to the works in Final Fantasy Tactics. (RPG game if you dont know.. 1 ) I personally dont do my faces like yours, but that doesn't mean they are bad. They do have a flare...:-P

:-) A. ŽLiŽ Yenser replies: "Actually, I'm really familiar with the game. XD In fact, it was around that time that I was playing it that I drew these and it definitely leaked into this set of drawings. Normally I don't do the faces like this either. Or, I should say, not entirely like this. "

Very nice!!! I love the armor... The spear is pretty damn kool as well!

:-) A. ŽLiŽ Yenser replies: "Thanks! That spear was kind of a hassle. When I drew it originally, it looked alright but didn't match the style of the rest of his armour. So I erased it and did it again. I think it works much better this time. 18 Glad I stuck with this version. "

You have a scary ability of drawing armour amazingly well! I can't draw armour at all, it sucks!

:-) A. ŽLiŽ Yenser replies: "I generally have a hard time doing full body plate armour and that sort of thing. Considering most of this guy's armour was just hard-leather peices with some metal bits attached, it was much easier. My advice is just to look at books about old-fashioned/midieval armour and practice, practice, practice. 1"

again, awesome character design, your stuff is wonderful. Great work. I love all the unpractical stuff on his armor and weapons, makes him look awesome.
