SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Summoning

I finally fixed it thanx to the new intranet! No more transparency This is an oldie but a goodie. I'm afraid the conjurist is a little out of proportion but that was because of the confines of the paper. Oh well. I still like it. I wish it could have scanned better though. Perhaps it's not wise to summon a demon out of the middle of a battle.....

Is there anyway you could make it darker? It's very hard to see the details. Pretty much the only thing that stands out is the k/a demon.

I'd like to see you paint this drawing the detail would stand out much better and I feel it would be an excellent piece.

It would be easier to see and critique if the scanning was different. Overal composition of the artwork is great. Nice spacing of the scene. I would really like to see a rescan.

And I would really like to see another version of it. An awesome idea, figures, detailes (love the winged guy and the bookcase--maybe just a teeny-weeny little bit darker). And I bet the room should be real dark and scary to go with the mood of the scene. 2

i like it... defenitely thebest you have here. Just a question for you: Did you do thi s pic over a long period of time and add the demon last? Cause it looks like its drawn with a different style than the rest, and its also darker. you can post youur answer here(im here quite alot=) thanx...

This is really cool! I especially like the bookshelves in the back! It's kinda hard to make out, though.

This is one amazing picture. Everything about it is so perfect and.... i cant explain it. The book stand and bookshelves are done really well. I LOVE the demon, its wings, the shape of its head, its legs, its wings and especially the "coming-at-ya" effect of the demons sword. You have managed to capture all the shapes of body parts so well and everything in the picture compliments everything else....... *takes a breath* its a stunner. keep it up!!
