SciFi and Fantasy Art: Alien Discovery

Alien Discovery was sketched and painted straight to 3D using Aartform Curvy 3D. It was easy to draw the basic forms in 3D. Then I painted on the details into the models and texture maps.

It only took a few minutes of modelling, and then a couple of hours painting textures.

1 Jun 2004	rupert003	Loading... Looks like a demon should. His right hand looks like Hellboy's right hand. is the right one symmetrical? If yes, then props for design! I love the natural gauntlet forearm concept. His face is scary, maybe glowing red eyes would top it off? Also great "hadoken" he's holding there. If it was mean to be the light source, however the picture might need some clearing out. Unless ofcourse theres hell's smoke around him. Well I like it all as is. Did you watch Hellsing (an anime)?
