| 29 Nov 2002 | Cynthia Cassidy | Isn't black paper so much fun? And it's a Companion - I really must try drawing one someday. Beautiful, very well done - only question, I thought the eyes were supposed to be blue? | |
| 20 Dec 2002 | kalaina3 | ooooooooohhhhhhh I love those books, especially the arrows of the queen trillogy. wonderfull job on the eyes they are very expressive. You've definitly captured the essence of a companion. let me know if you do more k? | |
| 4 Jan 2003 | Chelsea A.K.A Pyropuffin | Oh my gosh, I just *LOVE* those books! My fave is the Last Herald-Mage Trilogy. ah, so sad! But I really like the Companions, esp. Yfandes, whose chosen is Vanyel, the man character. ooooooh, yay! Vanyels such a hottie ... even if he is shaych But anyways, very nice piece. It really shows the way I think about the companions. You know, the more I look at it it seems as if this might kind of show that the whole horse's body thing is just a shell, ya know? and that inside is something completely different? Ah well, anyways, I really like it. I'll stop rambling now | |
| 29 Jun 2003 | A. Uneide teicher | Companion! I just read the Herald- Mage books last week, and I fell in love with them. This is a beautiful representation, and wonderfully chosen media for it. | |

| 23 Jan 2008 | Anon. | Incredible dimentions... I can usually find something wrong with horses; not yours. I also think the black background hilights her beautifully. Keep up the wonderful work. And thier eyes can be any shade of blue. I believe ML mentions in "Brightly Burning" that Rolon’s eyes are a deeper shade of blue than Lavan’s Kalira. | |
