SciFi and Fantasy Art: Annamaria Battarack

This is Annamaria. Apologies for the slate grey background, but there were a lot of horrible looking marks around her on the original copy. She's one of Locke's three daughters, each of which were all just wild and went to all corners of the world to find their niche. Annamaria settled in Analisia, where she trained to become an aneae'ek, which is avery studious form of fighting. pose inspired by a Magic:the Gathering card.

I don't mind the grey background at all. The thing I love best about this one is her stance -- she looks so casual, but her equipment seems to state otherwise, which creates a cool effect. Very nice!

I like the way her stance is.that is neat how her clothes are put in place.she looks like a warrior princess The artist chuckles: In a sence, she is a warrior princess...only, not a princess, just the daughter of a lord.

Just commenting again to say that this is one of my favorites in your gallery..... she just looks so "whatever" and "if I cared, I would kick your butt" I really love this one! Definately the Annamaria attitude. *smirks, glad A.M. is getting a fan*

Complete ditto to Jen's comments. And one more thing: I dig.

Impressive. And I must say I am not surprised by your source of inspiration. If I had a dollar (even a Canadian one) for each of my ideas inspired from a Magic: The Gathering card, I certainly would not be fretting about all the money I'm gonna owe by the time I get my degree.

great pose, she has attitude for sure. only thing, her nose seems to start to far down on her face.

wooo, look at all the comments, how'm I doing? good, bad? should I shut up cause I have no idea what I'm talking about or keep going?

I think the background is just fine. Her neck is a little long, but I like the way she holds herself. um..Let me rephrase that, I like the way she is standing. The legs to me see a little incomplete, like the lines could be more defined to fit the rest of the picture? Well anyway, again you got an imagination for creative clothes and nice hair.

The casual pose is admirable. ^^ Some of the lines doesn't seem to fit with the rest, giving her a few odd curves around the hip and bust, but her arms look good. I can't decide if the skirt seems short or not, though it does make her look like she has short thighs.

Ah ive seen then this pose before. Hmmmmm where was it. Oh yea ive seen quite a bit of girls in my school standing like that. Plus i like the clothing that you draw it looks like designs that are soon to be. As always i love it.
