| 17 Aug 2003 | Daniel F.G. | To Louise E. Nunn: Well, actually the spheres ARE removed during the harvest-process. You can see that in the slight background, where the harvesting ship takes one of these spheres up. Look closer on the pictures you comment on.
You might be right with the reflections, they seem to come mainly from the metal parts - but one can argue about that for sure.

What do you mean by the ship doesn't look very effective? Well, it's a lot of work to bring up those spheres and replace the food with new small plants, but the design itself is effective. It must be built fast, inexpensive and must have much room for the food. No extras needed.
