SciFi and Fantasy Art Faery Of ArkMar by Igor Armiach

Swampfaery in the swamp of ArkMar, a mile or so from her home swamp of InsectField. She stands on the dead mullberry rtee and looks on the twihouse of ArkMar ( A real place. It is really hard to find swamps in Israel) and behind her is her bodyguard, Eagel, the protector of Faery. The photo was taken in some Kibbutz in the Centre of israel and the stripe of fire I used to write the song on is a real flaw caused by exposeure of this piece of film to light.

How fitting that a faery be found in a place where spooky, thorny trees dominated the landscape, and how lucky you were to discover her. It looks like she is holding a tiny frog. Mysterious... Igor Armiach replies: "Yeah. She does hold a frog.... a toad ! See the big drawing, where I took the faery from."
