SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lost

This was originally two pictures. The background was done in white crayon on black paper, the girl was done in normal pencil on white paper. I used jasc paint shop pro to combine the two and do a negative image of the girl. The tone of the background and the girl aren't quite perfectly matched, but I'm actually very pleased with the way she's brighter than everything else. It heightens the spooky effect.
