SciFi and Fantasy Art: Big Green Eye

An extreme close-up of an orc after he was told that his coffee was decaffeinated. Or maybe it's the look that Grendel got from his mom when he stayed out too late at Heorot. Or possibly it's part of a nightmare I had when I was five. <BR> Regardless, I really like the way it came out. Maybe one day I'll put a face around it. <BR> Sketched with pencil, finished with WACOM tablet and Painter Classic.

Just got a Wacom tablet and you've made me endlessly happy showing me what I can do with it in this picture.

I love it. Im such an eye fan. I love eyes so much. This eye looks so realistic. You really capture some depth in this snapshot. Its like a real picture, not just some empty eye. You know what I mean...<noddles>

WOW! This looks soooo good close up. The thumbnail looks like you took a photo (if such a thing were possible). Kudos!

You havn't drawn this it's a hulk picture which uve edited on the computer! Tisk tisk tisk didn't think you could get away with it did you?
29 Dec 2003:-) Alissa 'Silver' Sokolski
First off, to Aimee above: it could not possibly be the Hulk since the skin tone is mossy rather than the bright Crayola marker green that Marvel used; secondly, I do believe the Hulk had brown eyes and not green; and even if that's not enough, look at the bridge of the nose, it's definitely not dipped in like a human nose would be (and since the Hulk is very much human, only bigger and green...). So therefore, this piece of awesomeness could not possibly be anything else but a well-drawn picture by miss Lauren Whitney Stafford herself and if you have a problem with that, why don't you just get your hands on a pencil and start drawing and practicing just as much as she did to get this awesome.
Lauren...amazing work, really, keep it up.

That must be the very best picture of an eye I have ever seen... Shading, coloring, detail... everything is just perfect.

He's not the Hulk, but his poor quality coffee is makingg him angry, and you won't like him when he's angry.
