SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ixiocraetor

A spirit bird that wanders the Ethereal. It randomnly chooses a 'surrogate' from the physical world. Ixiocraetor counsels its surrogate on all sorts of matters, both esoteric and worldly. Ultimately, it gifts its ward with great magical power. However, these powers inevitably destroy the unfortunate surrogate, and Ixiocraetor must begin its search anew.

How come he needs a surrogate? Stanton F. Fink replies: "He needs a surrogate to talk to, and siphon energy off of. It's one of those situations that you can't do by yourself."
10 May 2004	Luka 'Fireball' Delaney	Loading... That's just eerie. but so cool! you know what, it reminds me of monsters in super nintendo games. all the technical and precise hand drawn line art, and digital coloring to lend texture. I almost expect to see this one as a summon in FF6
