| 22 Jan 2003 | Jonathan Franz | I like how the glowing thingy stands out so well against the rest of it. Stanton F. Fink replies: "The glowing orb is analogous to her eye." | |
| 24 Jan 2003 | Lisa Ann Eshkenazi | This one seems muchly Chinese (to me) compared to the rest of your work. I like this deep green. Usually when I see red and green together I automatically think Christmas but not when I see this (which is a good thing). She's very cool. I especially love that fin on her tail. | |
| 25 Jan 2003 | Zachariah Campbell | Mixed reactions man... I like her, and I especially like the flourish you put on the glowy thing... kind of like a tracer effect. Very stylish. On the other hand, I'm not sure if the colour suits it. It's as if the colour hides the linework, and the linework dirties the colour. Your stuff has such a strong B&W quality, I think you might have to modify your drawing style to suit pieces you expect to colour. Just a thought. Stanton F. Fink replies: "Yeesh, a few smudges, and you make it sound like I murdered someone." | |
| 27 Jun 2003 | Angeline Vixen | Like a big evil eel/carp thing... and the glowing red eye thing makes it looks like she's trailing blood... But would any shark DARE to attack her? I think not. Very schweeet drawing, Master Stanton. | |
| 6 Jul 2006 | Belphagor | i like this style!! reminds me of the armoured fish of prehistory, which preyed on sharks!! really cool style man, keep up the originality...thats what really matters in art.PS...nice bio-luminesence on the creatures glow stick...kind of like an angler fish. wicked!! | |
