SciFi and Fantasy Art: ..Lone Pair Of Watchful Eyes..Inspired by the Australian band Savage Garden's song 'You Can Still Be Free', this is the strong image that I found in my head after listening to that song a few times. I had to draw it or I would never be free of it.

| 10 Jun 2000 | Kitt | i love this painting most as i am feeling blue when
looking at the picture.( maybe i am crazy, but i
really enjoying looking at pictures that carry this
kind of feeling, just like Vincent Van Gogh's pics
which i like most)
"art is not for pleasing most of the people, it is
also good if only one person love that, just be
creative..."i always remember what my professor told
me.
Create more pics and carry on with passion^-^

| 11 Jun 2000 | Chris | This is so interesting to see your view. I'm amazed. When I picture the song in my head and what it represents,I see something completely different, but I really love your interpretation.
I love the wings, gorgeous Christine. Bright.

| 24 Jan 2001 | Maj | I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! Anyway, I like how you draw. My favorite group is Savage arden, and that song never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Personally, I would have done it in black and white. The bright colors make it look almost happy, and that song is the saddest one ever. I would also have done it with maybe a long gash on the angel's face, but it's an opinionated thing and you don't wanna hear my opinions---even I get bored with them. I don't often have the time to visit, so e-mail me if ya got something to say, okay? Thanks! | |

| 19 Apr 2001 | Eva | Oh gawd, the song depresses the heck out of me, and even though it's beautiful, I don't really listen to it much. Your picture makes me shudder. It's so turbulent, so frantic, so despera. And the broken wings... This is the perfect illustration for the song! It sends shivers down my spine. There is something very broken and hopeless in the figure (though the song is filled with hope *s*)... Very touching, in a bone-deep way. I bow to your mastery and skill to express emotion artistically. | |
| 21 Apr 2001 | Wendy | Christine, that's so cool. I'm sorry I can't think of any good adjectives, it's 12 a.m. and I found your site through the Sony BBS and I think it's cool. I like it. Hehe. Keep it up! I love the song YCSBF. Nevermind I like them all! | |
