SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sahtiel II

Some time ago, an evil wizard captured a young man and attached the wings of a giant eagle to his back, then tried to give him infravision in order to create a bodyguard that was better than all beings he could find. The wings worked, but unfortunately the spell on the eyes was too strong, so the young man got infravision, but was left blind to the light. Later, Sahtiel managed to flee and somehow returned to the forest he had been living in with his adopted father for nineteen years. Now, as his father, a half-elven druid, is near death, he has become the forest's guardian. There are not many who get to see him as the chimera he is - and those who do should never make the mistake to call him 'creature'. PC of mine, coloured pencil on originally light brown surface - which I changed into night blue in order to get a better contrast to the wings. It was a nice experiment to draw on a surface that is not white, and I was surprised to see the effect with the white pencil in the feathers.
