| 27 Sep 2002 | Frederick J. Mayer | Ok Steve, so we disagree on the KuMiHo storyline (even somewhat with your well executed visual of her). Hey, so what? It's a folk tale (pun?) with at least as many variations of it as she has tails. However, it seems our like interests in her keep crossing (by the way, thanks for showing me the original awhile ago). I don't recall if you were in the audience at KyungHee University, when it hosted the International Culture Festival, and the Korean art-rock band I was in did my near 20 minute long performance poetry piece on KuMiHo there. But, I remember your delightful poetry in the book, "Poets' Mountain," which we both appeared in, that collected alot of the stuff presented at the Festival held that year at the University. Then, an edited version of that KuMiHo poem appeared in the book "HARMONY, 1st World Congress of Poets for Poetry Reseach and Recitation," 1998. And, that was the version I performed when that group gathered in China back in 2000. I had the pleasure of being one of the participants with you at that Congress in China. And, I remember your poetry presentation there, especially, the one done with Katie. It was good. However, at the time, I didn't know your poem delivered with Katie was connected to KuMiHo (or I just don't recall you telling me). This info came when I read Duane's newspaper article about our little journey there. Finally, I get to the point (Steve will tell you it is not unusual for me to be wordy), in Duane's article he offered a part of your KuMiHo poem...I would like others to know about that fine piece of word creation from you and here with your KuMiHo art seems the right place. So: "she helped close the program as half of a sensuous theatric duet with...Steve Koons, which was also based on the KuMiHo story but whose beginnings were in an introduction to a short story he wrote for an erotic Web site- Breathe deep...Take me in and fill your eyes like water rushing in a drowning heart... Drowning...Losing myself... What is this strange creature who binds me with soft black velvet...?
Open your eyes and this dream will be over... No...never end... Breathe deep... Sometimes I think I'll miss this life I'm about to leave behind... You always do...." | |

| 13 May 2004 | Anonymous | I looked at a lot of your stuff and I must say this: your talent at drawing women is EXCELLENT. Regardless of your religious beliefs (even though artists origionally put "evil" nudity into the bible itself, and in religious artifacts and art...hypocrytes) your talent is true. i wish I was able to show your art to the world. DAMN your good. | |
