SciFi and Fantasy Art: Winged Archer

This is the third of Max Bertuzzi's pictures that I colored. Max is a briliant artist showcased in Gallery 1. With his permission, I added color to his black and white drawing of the Archer woman.

i like the colours very much, and, heh, looking at your gallery has reminded me how much i desperately need to start using colour.

I'd like to see YOUR work, not someone elses work! Please don't be mad, but its very odd to me to see this. Colaborative effort is good, in the design and creation, to be a part of the conception and creation, but why post another artists work?

the wings! oh, i simply adore the wings...i have this obsession with wings...i love wings...i wish i had some v.v. oh well, i'll get over it someday, right? i wish i had wings...wings like the ones in the picture would do fine! ^.^ yup, definatly wouldn't mind having those wings. beautiful. divine. yup. but you did the color, and BLUE wings are the most woderful thought in the world to me at the moment! keep up the good work. i admire you, for i cannot color worth dog-doo. i probably would've failed kindergarten... "elen, you're not coloring in the lines!" yells the teacher. "what lines?" asked the child. "THOSE lines!" yells the disgruntled teacher. "but you told me to color!" cries the child. "i told you to color, that's right, NOT TO DRAW YOUR OWN DARNED PICTURE!" oh well...i'll get over it someday.

she looks at her assigned target, stringing the arrow with the dragon’s tooth. she shoots, hitting her targets head right between the eyes. she flys back to the man who was paying her. "easy".

So this is where that picture wound up. I was just thinking about this drawing earlier today and wondered where it had gone, so I did a search for it. Looks like Max took down his original, but your colored version is nice too. (I still wish he’d put it back up though 14 )
