SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fleeting Innocence, or Rococo

As she appeared on my paper she seemed like a maiden realizing as she hurries to meet her love, she soon won't have that mysterious quality allowing her to tame the unicorn...

The 'Rococo' thing is something I thought John would appreciate.

This, of course, does need a background, but I didn't know what to do with it. Suggestions?

I really love the unicorn.
The idea behind the pic is great, the grass is nice, and she has a shadow!

I think a simple forest of mountains setting would do as a good background. Whatever you choose as a bbackground, keep it simple. We want her and unicorn to be the pics focus.

One little thing though--They look like their floating in the air. No grass around their feet, it seems to be below them as if their feet/hooves aren't pressing down upon the ground.
Unless you intended it that way (which I doubt) then perhaps you can try to fix that.
Just draw a bit of grass around her feet and its hooves is all.
Easy enough.
Anyways, nice pic.
Keep it up!
^_^

This is a gorgeous picture. I love the elvish look on the woman. The shading is very nice.
The Unicorn looks indignant at being interuppted by this woman. Very very good.
The background, I dunno. Maybe a tower. Trees. Clouds.

I really like this one! You captured the thoughts of each in their expressions and body language. The girl is making her choice, gently pushing the unicorn from her as she hurries on. The unicorn is confused, indignant, and hurt to be brushed aside, to see her choose maturity over magic. Lovely images. Great work!

Make them standing on like one of those thing-ies that like float? You know? The cone shaped land stuff that float in the fabric of space/time? You know? Haha! Just finished reading Timeline...and space/time just sounds so cooool... ^_^x Nice pic, love the lady...but I think the horn on the uni's a bit long, but personal preference I guess... =) Take care.

Mind you, "rococo" implies that there is a shell-derived theme/pattern in the composition...

Wait a moment...
"Fleeting Innocence?"
I thought it was "Fleecing Innocence."
My mistake.

This is absolutely amazing! How do you do it?! ^__^

Just regular old 4B pencil and paper, a little bit of erasing and smudging. ;-)

What about a sun down as background? With the hole sky red of fire?
