SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anubis

Look, it's another Egyptian god! This is my second favorite deity, Anubis. He's the god of mumification, and the guide of the dead souls to the Land in the West.

I rather like how his hair turned out - I tried patience for a change, and spent a lot of time on the sketch before coloring.

I find your Anubis is somewhat androgynous, did you mean to do that? it's very pretty. oh, and this isn't a criticism, just something I thought of: did you know that Anubis was said to have red hair? one of the many reasons why red is associated with evil or bad omens and such.
