SciFi and Fantasy Art: Pangaea - Fly Crow

This is Crow, a very minor character from Pangaea, that you may remember from the comic I made a while back. As Maqaxha lived as a cheap slave in Machra-la, this sweet boy here managed to reveal his true identity. He threatened to sell the information to Maq's former homeland, where news of the traitor-prince would most likely be worth a lot - whereupon Maqaxha dearest promptly killed him. Dead men tell no tale, little Crow... Oh, did I mention Crow had the biggest crush on Maq? His greatest secret, one he took with him to his watery grave. Very sad, really.

This picture is the kind of thing that happens when Silvy 1: is working on another project, and doesn't really have the time to do the picture, but wants to bad enough she manages to remember the idea till said project is finished, 2: knows she won't have to get up early next morning, ergo can spend all night drawing, and 3: photopaint and character are being cooperative. I started this at maybe 6 o' clock this past evening, and finished it, now at 4 in the morning. About 10 hours of on and off doodling. Yay me. All CG, blobs-of-color technique.

those crystalline textures and the almost archangel-like face are conjuring amazing images in my mind. Again, wonderous work.

I love how you gave him wings with the beams of light...given that his name is Crow I will assume it means something. You must forgive my ignorance (whoo big word for me) but I haven't yet come to be formilliar with Pangaea (did I spell that right?)
I love this piece and the water affect. Kudos to you. CG is my one true enemy...

Elizabeth, that's a guy, not a girl. A very beautiful guy, in a very beautiful, albeit sad, pic. Wonderful, I especially love the water and the feather!
