SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lifeline

This is the second painting in a new series I'm working on incorporating tree motifs. Its the same size as its companion, 'Invitation' (6'x3') and was painted with a very restricted palette. This little picture kind of ruins all the detail, but oh well. Some people think they can see faces in the water :)
