SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lylyalanon

Aen brings Illeriaye up to the top of one of Lylyalanon's many towers to show her the view of the Elven city's royal palace. Halfway through drawing this I got rather lazy, but its a scene I would love to do in colour some day. I was trying to come up with some unique Elven architecture. Does it work or is it too futuristic looking?
