SciFi and Fantasy Art: Gonin

This was inspred while watching the yakuza movie 'Gonin'. Nevertheless this head belongs to an assassin from Myown, my fantasy world.

21 Nov 2001	Madeline Jane Quirk	Loading... I nice use of shading, it gives the feel of a wooden doll with no features. However, at the moment it looks out of place - the face is perfectly smooth with the lips with no curve and the hair and ear just sketched on. If the same shading effect was done over the whole of the drawing it would look more... complete.
9 Mar 2003	Mandy Elliott	Loading... I do like this one. However, the lips seem to "not be apart of the picture" if you understand that. It seems as if the lips were added as a last minute thing. It might look better if you discluded the lips all together. That or perhaps shade the lips. Just a thing
