SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hares, Armor, and Leapin' Lizards!
Well, Technically not a lizard, but a reptile... I drew these two seperately and then stuck 'em together because they were originally supposed to be fighting eachother anyway... I asked a couple people who they thought would win. Everyone said the Chiss would. Poor Terra. Someone even said she looked like a wimp. Does she look like a wimp? Honestly!!! *sigh* Well I think she looks pissed and definately knows how to use that sword... The Chiss she's fighting isn't anyone in particular unless someone would like to name him. Chiss, by the way, are an intermingling of crocodile and a breed of small aquatic and aerial dragons. But as you can see, Chiss are land and aquatic instead since they have no wings (the wing stubs are the only things left of what once were dragon wings...) You can learn more about Chiss and other species I've made up once I get up a page for it on my web page. What do you think of this?
**shruggs** Well, the helmet is covering the top of her eyes so you can't see her expression in the eyes, but she's glaring and "snarling" (even though she doesn't have fangs, hehe...) at the Chiss... Or atleast that's what I was TRYING to accomplish. *Sigh* Apparently it didn't work, though.
Hello fellow elfwood artist. I like your style. And I would like to mention that I think the only reason people think your rabbit-lady looks afraid, worried, ect. is because of the upward slope in the center of her helmet. It makes it look as if the helmet is portraying the curve of her eyebrows, giving her a ' <: ' kind of look around her forehead. Maybe if you added the eyebrows in a cartoonish manner, on the outside of her helmet, it would solve the problem. Then again, you probably left them off because you where trying to use a certian drawing style. Anyway. I think it looks great, anyway.

Pfft to people who think she looks like a wimp. As stated above, the helmet obscures her face and the line it puts around the eyes leads people to go jumping to conclusions. REally, though, to me it looks like she's going to slice that silly creature open the moment he lands... really. Holding your sword above your head is an open invitation to disembowlment!
great pic. i think that if you put her ears down she would look more cautious and vicious all at once. She'll win for sure. i like the reptiles toe too.
