SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ork

a big bad ork warrior like we all love them (love seems strange to me for that type of guy, don't you think so?)

Well done. Its is very coo lookin guy. Though I am sorry to burst your bubble by that aint a orc. Just to let you know if you draw another orc, they dont have a huge belly and there skin is not yellow it is green and tough looking, as well as they have a very distinguishing jaw bone. Though I dont mean to slam ya but I'll say it again that aint no orc. Thoug good pic!

How nifty! I love the colours, you have got the anatomy just right! How does he kill people with that pot belly in the way?

Wow, I love your take on the orc. So many people go with what Warcraft and Tolkin put out that I see very few origonal looking orcs. Bravo!

Not the run of the mill Orc...a yellow one at that! Cool character design

"An experienced eye could tell an Orc's home and lineage, to the nearest five miles, from the precise combintation of green, brown, pink and grey in their skin..." Admittedly, I should have been clearer about what five miles of lineage meant. Yellow, however, is definitely unusual. Between the pot belly and the dubious axe, actually, I'd call this guy a mercenary, working as a palace guard for a human border-lander prince who doesn't entirely trust his own people; the strange human diet has had a lamentable effect on his skin tone, but he has got fat on it, and intimidating people with a huge heavy- headed axe like that is much easier than actually hitting them.
