SciFi and Fantasy Art: Araikao 2000

Araikao, She who dances (in the new year). I painted this one almost in one night, I started it in 1999 and finished it a few hours later in 2000 (working franticly and praying to an assortment of gods that the power wouldn't go out (it didn't and I'm kinda disappointed ^_^)) Believe it or not this piece was painted on the front of an envelope (the top left hand black was painted partially on the plastic window and you can see part of the 'postage paid' stamp through the green scarf near her legs)
