| 11 Apr 2002 | Emma H. Snövej Hoffström | He's great, just my sorta beast... **A pointer:: when you make yer beats, etc., make sure that they can actually LIVE on what they have, like, don't have claws curving in too much around to the bottom of the toe... make sure that the shape of the animal can actually be used, like, no too long limbs or necks... and also make sure it can lift itself... also, make sure it can use its head and body for what it is meant to do, if you do not know what it is meant to do, figure it out! and that isn't that hard, since you usually make up the beast, or whatever. *>* Now, just cause I said all that I didn't mean yer pics are bad... Basically a pointer to all drawers, etc, out there!! Tammy Larson replies: "Well, this is actually one form of a werewolf.. The hispo form is supposed to have an oversized head with large jaws, longer limbs, very muscular.. it's a form that's supposed to be almost, but not quite pure wolf. Between crinos (half wolf, half human) and lupus. (Total wolf) The reason I did this picture is because I hardly EVER see this form drawn. Thanks for the suggestions!" | |
| 28 Jun 2002 | Nashsplash | OMG! I love wolfs! and were-wolfs!!!!!! | |
| 29 Sep 2002 | Anonymous | The Hispo was not even created by you, neither was the Crinos, why don't you give White Wolf Publishing, the creators of WereWolf: The Apocalypse, credit? www.white-wolf.com Tammy Larson replies: "Hmmm... I don't recall ever saying I made up the names for the forms. I thought it was rather obvious that I play Werewolf: The Apocolypse and that that's what the werewolf pictures here are based on. It seems that everyone ELSE finds that rather obvious. Sorry for ruffling your feathers. " | |
| 21 Jul 2003 | Jack | I like it, but looks sort of like a more primative animal from the tretary. | |

| 29 Apr 2005 | Eskil Ceder | Intresting it looks like a cross between dragon and wolf. | |
| 9 Dec 2005 | Aida Vicens | The reptilian touch looks really nice! | |
| 6 Nov 2006 | Texas longhorn girl person dude(aka Im insane) | cool | |
| 28 Mar 2007 | J Lurhstaap R | That's an awesome Black Spiral Dancer, or possibly metis. Unfortunately, it honestly doesn't work for anyone else. For a Dancer, though, it's badass. I'd like to see the same character, or design, that is, in other forms, to see how the same mutation, so to speak, would change.
All that said, flaws aside, why are you and I literally, like, the only non-official White Wolf artists to draw Hispo? In the books, they illustrated Hispo outside the forms section *once*. In Revised. I own almost every Werewolf book. There's maybe six or seven pieces of Hispo art in the offical game, period. And absolutely none in Rage, of course (of course there's a lot of Glabro 'Crinos' forms, which pisses me off to no end -- WHY THE ---- are people so obsessed with the damn Glabro? It gets drawn as much if not more than Crinos, Homid, or Lupus!)
In short, why no love for hispo from everyone else?
Oh well. Personally, since they've dumped Apocalypse and gone to the not-bad but overall regrettable Forsaken, I've been working on a setting of my own culling the best ideas from both and then warping and twisting them into unrecognisability. If nothing else, trying to design a race of werewolves with non-phase-based lunar affiliation, multiple forms on a paradigm other than proportion of human to wolf features, their own very similar but not the same form of rewards/awards/etc. given by the spirit world without using the word 'Gift'; it's a fun challenge.
Hope you're doing well now.
