| 1 Dec 2001 | WussyBoy | I love the sketches. They're amazing. Maybe it's just me, though, but I think the short guy with the axe has his legs bent rather uncomfortably. I could be wrong, though. I've just never known myself or anyone else to stand quite like that. Norbert ´Kijin´ Pustan replies: "Well...A lot about the short guy is rather strange.I am not really sure how he survived my eraser-eager perception. Must have been how he eyed me and swung his huge axe back and forth when my hand went for the rubber. " | |
| 27 May 2002 | Zachariah Campbell | These are wonderful sketches? Photo sources? Either way, they're awesome! There's a great minimalism here, while still retaining some nice detail (the girl and the vest-guy are my favourites). The bottom muscle-guys depart from the softness of the style a bit. Their muscles are too delineated and geometric, so I don't really feel like "Wow, that bald guy is cut!", but rather "Look, he's wearing one of those fake muscle shirts!" Norbert ´Kijin´ Pustan replies: "The upper three characters were loosely referrenced by photos. The lower left bald guy was inspired by a comic-book picture, but I originally planned on turning him into an alien. That is why he sports an inhuman belly now.The remaining three just dropped from my mind right onto the sheet....Poor sheet..." | |
