SciFi and Fantasy Art: Kijinn - a hero of many worlds...This would be the summed up personification of most (if not all) the heroes I ever played or dreamed of...Truthfully, I have not put as much effort into this as I should have...still, he represents the 'image' adequately, as is. He is a martial artist in all of his reincarnations. That symbol in the background...well...it is japanese but I have no idea what it means | |

| 11 May 2002 | SilverKey | That symbol in the background....You mean the Yin-Yang? Actually, I think it might be Chinese. Anyway, it's generally taken to be the equivalent of the "Circle of Life." More specifically, it means that in all good things, or people, there is some bad (the black spot on the white half) and some good in all bad things (the white spot on the black half). And your art, as always, magnificent. | |
| 22 May 2002 | Zachariah Campbell | Well sculpted, as always. Dragon tattoos confound me, so I give you bonus points for pulling that off convincingly. The hands are really nicely done, though I can't quite fathom what his, um, outfit is made of, and much less how he can do martial arts while wearing it... Considering the costumes often seen on fantasy characters, this may seem like a strange complaint, but I feel that with the realism of your style, it seems more glaring when improbable elements are introduced... inconsistent maybe. Otherwise, pretty slick, technically speaking. | |
| 13 Dec 2002 | Sumotori | Not much effort, huh? Liar... ) In my opinion, he looks great. And yes, this butt-kicker is just like "your kind of guy". I would both love and hate to see this dude in action (love if he's on my side, hate if I'm on the receiving end of his chops, kicks and what-have-you). But I'm surprised... there IS a name, and there IS a concept... this is an enormous contradiction to your other name from old times... Nonanoko... )... Just kidding. Back to your picture. I'm just a layman, but I love this pic. Nuff said. | |

| 13 Jul 2004 | Kryptonite | Great pic!!!I love the background.Can you make a draw of a samurai, please? | |
| 29 Apr 2006 | Sam | Great picture. The style of drawing is something I aspire to as someone just starting to experiment in fantasy art. I particularly like the musculature and the dragon tatoo. However, the character seems to have an uncanny resemblance to the central characheter of the Robert Jordan Wheel of Time books. Or at least how I perceive him. Has this been mentioned before? This link is only backed up by your use of the Chinese Symbol in the background which in the books is the ancient symbol of the Aes Sedai. | |
