SciFi and Fantasy Art: Savannah - watercolor

The eldest of the Sphinx Sisters, Savannah, in her wingless state. I colored this in watercolor pencils on a whim. :) It's nice for my very first attempt at said pencils, but the skin tone is way too light. I'll have to try to get a bigger range of colors; I was working with only 10 for this. Still, it's cute, and different. Unfortunately, I had to crop this VERY tightly to get it under the 100kb download limit. I'm FINALLY beginning to work out how to shrink image size without extreme loss of image quality (blurriness) like in that duck-in-front-of-forect-fire pic. :P Anyhow. Expect to see many more Sphinx Sisters pics in here... their popularity no matter where I posted the pics really struck me, so I'm building them their own website. History, stories, characters... art... :)
