SciFi and Fantasy Art: Warning Shot

Peregrin Kain Ultair, a harsh, grouchy war-veteran type mage. This pic doesnt show much of his personality, and it was a complete bugger to shade due to my crumblingly old pencils.. but I got there in the end.
You cant really see it, but his right eye has been blinded.. and his robes came off too frumpy. Oh yeah, and he just happens to be my character in Morrowind, Argonian, naturally. The spell he's prepping is called 'Peregrin's Dry Lightning', its much more impressive in-game, honest >:)

11 Oct 2004	Phil	Loading... *first comment dance Anyway I really like this one. The shading is superb especially near the bottom of his cloak and around the magic ball. Great job.

I am not one to really like anrthos and critters (humans are versatile enough for me... too versatile at times) but you can feel this guy is a grouch and potentially dangerous. Your shading gives the picture a rugged feeling. It's vibrant.
26 Jun 2005	Liam T. Shanley	Loading... I LOVE argonian magi! Almost all the casters i make are Argonian (i've only done 1 who wasn't). I like being able to cross vast distances on foot (claw?).
