SciFi and Fantasy Art: Old : Silvalest Relaxing(Very Old) My first character request. Silvalest relaxing on a silky bed of velvety material stuff. Silvalest Amoria is entirely copywrited and created by Taylan C. The same Taylan C who said he'd draw a piece in return, but vanished once this piece was done *scowls to himself quietly* My first real CG piece, slightly 'pissy' and pale colors.. but I think I did okay for such a speed-bound job :)

The colors and how she's posed are excellent. Something about her makes everything look soft. 8 hours? Well...that's nothing when it comes to me. Try 2 weeks and I'm still not finished. Work and school and work and school...not much time to squeeze in time to color. It would be much simpler if I wasn't working. School is a must. *sighs* Great job! Thanks! Normally I use a picture to work out how parts should look.. but this one was completely unaided ^_^ (aside Photoshop that is, ahehe **sweatdrops**)

Maybe if you try your hand at what?
| 17 Apr 2001 | Tantz Aerine | This is excitedly good for your first colour pic! I wasn't nearly as good. I love the soft colours here, and hey! having seen the black and white, i see you have improved some elements greatly. Very good. Now the next step would be to let your lovely model bend her legs a tiny bit If only I had a model like this I didnt have any model for it, and it was fairly fast on the pencil side. | |
| 18 Apr 2001 | Sarah J. Adkins 'DMSCV' | Drawng her of course. though i would probably goof up beyond the reach of help. Baaah, you know we gotta stop posting free like this. O_o it might get annoying to the others. Bah, its my page aint it? Posting free is fine, but I get all excitified thinking its about the art when I go into the extranet. Ask Taylan, im sure he'll let you | |
| 29 Apr 2001 | Katriona Iduna Giselle Drijber | oh wow, you did a great job on her! the pose is real nice, and all the fabrics look so soft! really great pic here, and i also love how you've done her face! keep up the good work! ((^-^)) Yeah, I think thats my style finally coming about and surfacing with a little practice.. at least its not an accident Though the face changed a little when I CG'ed it - I think it came out more like Silvalest would look better as. | |
| 6 May 2001 | Kim Van Gampelaere | The pose is really nice Daniel, I like the shading on her outfit very much. Only sad that you didn't drew her feet, or left them out of the work. Nice breasts. (they really are!) Yeuck, the feet.. im gonna have to work on doing feet properly. *looks back to his pic* Aye, they may be nice but a little 'inhuman'.. I think they are a tad bigger than would be perfect. Ah well, I shoulda payed more attention.. at least Silvalest seems to be happy with them | |
| 22 May 2001 | Rian Futty | At last a colour image to call your own. It looks pretty decent considering you keep say that colour isn't your 'thing'. | |
| 14 Jun 2001 | V-Star <spiretkiss@hot...com> | I like the pastel colors! ^_^ Very nice, however, she looks a little bit stiff..... | |
| 2 Sep 2001 | Linzy Marie Slusher | very nice, though I would say for future reference, she needs more a ribcage. | |
| 18 Apr 2002 | Dee | This is such a great picture. Keep up the great work. It's creepy how, as I browse through the woods, I keep finding art that resembles the characters I come up with. (I write and RP) It happens all the time. This one reminds me of my character Sylvana. It's insane. And I don't mean it's one or two galleries it's lots. Very strange. Anyway, love the pic. Keep up the great work. | |
