SciFi and Fantasy Art: Orc study

I made a model of the Great Orc out of plastercine, and then lit it from above, so I would then get the correct light and shade When I drew it. I'm afraid the model has fallen to bits now, for it was made 15 years ago.

That is fabulous!!! The plaster models would have been cool! I have yet to try dong something in sculpture. Good idea.

No wonder your orcs look kinda cute...sort of flabby...squishy, soft...like warped teddy bears!

This isn't exactly how I pictured the orcs, but I have to say that this is brilliant! The structures of the muscles and even the backbone is absolutely astonishing!

Ahhh... Sometimes it can be a realy rough thing to look your self in the mirror a monday morning after a hard night on the town............ You`we capture that feeling quite correctly ;0)
