Hi! I`ve been dropping by time to time, and you always impress me with the latest artworks! 2 I really love the Tolkien books, still I hope to see you illustrate some other fantasy-books! Maybe something from the books of Michel Ende? 2 Or Something completely "out of the air."

Ernest replies: "Hi Henning, I have got other artworks on the go, other than Lord of rings, its just a matter of shaking off this life long inertia that plagues me.the trouble with Michel Ende ...never ending story is that I`ve already seen the film, and that will get in the way of trying to see it anew.Maybe I`ll read another of his lesser know books of his. talking of books I`m reading Emperor "The death of Kings" by Conn Iggulden...second one in a trilogy wonderful story about Julius Caesar. thanks Henning for taking the time and dropping mate...sorry I`m so long winded in replying..."

Always a pleasure to see an original Tolkien illustrator. You have a talent for giving a distinct and fresh feel to scenes that have been widely illustrated previously. Thank you Goldenglade.. I`ve still got a few more up my sleeve, and with all this encouragement I receiving I`ll have to start sharpening my pencils..hey thanks again for entering me into your Tolkien Gallery...

Thanks for listing me as a favorite, high praise considering the other artist listed there. Just wanted to post to again say that I think you have some really great work here. I love the different styles and techniques you use. Not many artists can pull it off as they get used to a certain way of working and stay with it. You pull it off quite well, GREAT gallery!
