SciFi and Fantasy Art: Faros, the God of Wind

Look at the skies, see the wind taking the form of a wild horse. In all his eternality he runs everywhere, touches everyone, yet is forever alone. He can see all the pain in the world, and not do anything to change it. His eyes reflect the world, his only friend is Loneliness.

He is Faros, the God of Wind.
One of my favourites creatures. It's probably the mixture of eternal melancholy, loneliness and beauty that gets me. He is one of the two horses I have ever drawn. Considering that, I am quite happy with the result. Or what do all of you horse freaks say? :)

Where'd you buy this stencil?

:-) Tiia Löytty replies: "Why on Earth would I use a stencil? What would be the point in it?"

The God of Wind, in my mind's eye, is more fierce than the lovely image you present. Wind has a destructive quality that needs expression -- and it expresses itself in squalls, hurricanes, and gales.

:-) Tiia Löytty replies: "Indeed, wind may be destructive, but also a gentle breeze, a lonely whisper in the trees. In Lenea's religion, Faros represents sadness and yearning, there are different gods for rage and destruction."
