I do not think scanners do justice to the work of pencil art. This is a lovely piece, the original mut be absolutley beautiful!

There are some nice proportions in this picture, although forshortening needs some work. Value development has a nice start. For a better "plastic" (or realistic) feel, instead of using one direction of pencil stroke, trace the contours across the face and "form" the face that way. It makes for a less two dimensional feel.
