| 16 Jun 2000 | John Teall | now this is one i can realy sink my teath into - what kind of being sinks it's teeth into glass? - you probably don't want to know - (and if you do i don't know either - yet) - where was i - oh a few hours - mmmm - sounds like you still need more ram - and an opperating system feature called a swap file - of at least 25 meg - on your hd would also help (but make sure you've backed EVERYTHING up before trying to create one) - this actualy speeded up my render times more then the ram did but wouldn't have worked without both the more ram and the bigger hard drive too - for what it's worth my cpu is still the same p-133 the box i'm using came with ... (likewise my long overdue for upgrading enimic unaccelerated 2m video card ... ~ | |
