SciFi and Fantasy Art: Uunni

I started leaning more in depth post render editing. The name Uunni actually started out as a misspelling of Unicorn, *grins* A big thanks to Alleycat 169 for the textures on the horse and wings

First off, I love the horse's face. magnificent. As for the wings, no, they're not too big. yes, they should be set closer to Uunni's neck, as wings generally connect to a multi-limbed creature's preexisting "arm" shoulderblades. (That goes for angels, too, in case anyone was wondering) I admit that I do feel the wings seem hyperextended, and that would probably be a rather uncomfortable position to run in...not as much muscle control, you see. Beyond all that technical/biological stuff, I think this picture is absolutely fantastic =)

o i love the colouring and the wings, the wings arent too big as ive heard some one say but a horse would have to have huge wings. its beautiful and i wanna copy it. hehehe.

All right, my comments. I think the picture is very lovely. Great use of shade, color etc. BUT: The wings DO seem a little overwhelming. Too long. And the picture is the fraction on the fuzzy side, and the Alicorn is very small. But I do admit that this is a lovely picture.

I'd say the same stuff as others, but what's the point... I like it, though. The only thing is that you have to remember that an equine tail has a bone through it. It does have weight *not that I should be one to talk, my art is not THAT great*. Anyway, I likes 2

the wings ARE too far back. You should make them begin right at the shoulder blades. also, his/her coat is too bright, needs to be duller

Yep, too far back. But NOT too big. How do you expect to get a big 'ol horse off the ground w/ little stubby wings?

Ne... Everything I'd have said has been said, so I'll just be quiet and look at his pretty face. ^ ^ Is it me, though, or does his lower half look blurry..?
