SciFi and Fantasy Art: Defeat

It's a small step for mankind but huge for me. By this I don't mean that it's a good picture, actually not at all, but this is the first oil painting I'm not ashamed to show. The ones before this were in a word crap. (oil paint, 33x24 cm)

8 Feb 2002	Lisa Ann (Jae) Andresen	Loading... wow. i mean, oils are so hard to work with and just look at those luminous skin tones-- magic. The finer details you need to work out just seem to be overall anatomy and things like hands and feet. I mean, keep painting in oils, because you definately have an aptitude for them if you can do this, and with enough practice you can only become better. Greater. Just... wow. Very emotionally intense, here.
