SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragoon

The Dragoon is a sort of magical Battle Armor as forged by a council of ancient wizards. They come in various sizes and shapes, but are quite rare. The more I look at this one the less I like it.....I think it needs to be spiced up with more techno-gadgetry or more medeival gears and gizmos.

Ok Chris, you have me getting flash backs from He-man and She-ra.. It really reaminds me of one of Horde Prime's robots, or Hordack or something gods its hard to remember 80's cartoons.

"Legend of Dragoon" is the best video game in the world. This is somewhat like a dragoon from it except they have wings and are more medieval, but i think its a pretty good picture.

I think your drawing is alright although it reminds me of the marvel comic book character juggernaught mixed in with the lord of the rings.

Is he punching the human or grabbing him with an intent to finish him off? If he's punching the human, you shouldn't draw the punch at the point of contact... draw the robot AFTER the punch, and th eguy flying off his feet or knocked to the ground form the force of the blow.
If the robot has grabbed the poor guy and is trying to kill him with that wrist-blade thing on the left arm... how will he manage to do that without slicing off his own robotic hand in the process? (or letting go, which would give the guy time to block or roll out of the way)
