| 10 Aug 2000 | Natashka Kotraseva | Hm, no comments on such a beautiful pic... that's weird. Anyways, I like it a lot, very nice work, especially on her upper body and hair. I would make her tale a little more massive as now she seems a little unbalanced or something. Apart from that - great work! | |
| 1 Dec 2000 | jarre | I agree, a little more "fleshy" tail would do it. | |
| 8 Dec 2000 | Killigon | dont listen to theam that is one of the best tails i have ever seen i really love it | |
| 20 Feb 2001 | Anon. | I really like it... who knows about the tail, what do mermaids really look like? My only complaint is about her hand and wrist, they could look more realistic to match the rest of the drawing. Beautiful work! | |
| 5 May 2001 | Aurora | beautiful tail. i love the style of it | |
| 12 May 2001 | Sylvia | Butiful work i love the tail and the dolphin WOW!! | |
| 22 Jul 2002 | Stacey Rebekah Leech | The upper torso (including the hair and face) and the tail are uniquely beautiful. It's almost like you have knitted together two different styles of sketchwork and I love the final effect. The face is beautiful and the hair greatly detailed and poetic.
I love the blue tone to it as well, it just add's to the feeling. I can see her on an isolated beach, just around the corner from the coatlines inhabitants.
It almost looks like she's been caught, seen, by maybe a child?
The fresh ocean breeze whipping at her hair, prehaps carrying her lonely song on the wind.
She looks hesitant, maybe preparing to flee. Nervous? Anxious? Unure is she should flee from the strange little human who stares at her, head cocked to the side while mimicking her song.
LoL sorry, I'm really getting into this piece, I'd love to see a story with this one.
Great Work! | |
| 27 Jan 2003 | Janelle A. Tognazzini | Love the tail and the colors | |
| 24 Jun 2005 | Jenna M | Finally! Somebody drew a mermaid with a tail she can actaully swim with! I really like her. The color choice was a good one. I don't like just one thing--it's the picture as a whole. The little dolphin in the backround is the final perfect touch. Great job!! | |
