SciFi and Fantasy Art: Magic Returning Throwing Axe

This is a magic axe my Dwarven character picked up off some dead halflings. It returns to the thrower's hand and is +1. To represent the +1 I made a dagger-like point on the bottom part. To represent the returning properties I put a bird-like image and interlaced knot design on it, (bird for flight and interlaced knot for coming full circle)

The symbolism you imbued in this make it even coooooler. In my campaign, most magic items are highly stylized like this. Sure beats generic magic items by a mile. Good work.
